A grim-faced Derek Fisher stepped to the microphone Saturday and announced to reporters that the National Basketball Players Association had unanimously voted to terminate the contract of executive director Billy Hunter on Saturday.

"This is our union, and we're taking it back," Fisher, the union president, said in a short address at the Houston Hilton.
